Long day

Finally made it to camp at lake Moreno campground, mile 20. It's been an incredibly long day! Although the forecast called for clouds and a cool 70 degrees, we found it to be rediculously hot and sunny. Despite our sunscreen, hats, long sleeves, AND umbrellas, the sun was HOT and really took it out of us at times. We definitely got some color. The landscape was unreal at times and very starkly beautiful.
Since it's waaayyyy past hiker midnight, and we are totally wiped, I'll just throw some random pictures below to enjoy.
One of many break times in the shade
Strange desert fruit

Pops of color

Prickly pear cactus!

What a day! Goodnight!
